Milk thistle seed extract containing a high concentration of silymarin. It regulates the oral microbiome that suppresses the bacteria responsible for gingivitis, periodontitis, cavities, and plaque.
The milk thistle is a biennial plant that can reach a height of 1.5 meters and is characterized by its green leaves with a marble pattern and white veins. It has been known as a medicinal plant for a long time, and since the discovery of a molecule belonging to the flavonoid group called silimarin (silybin) from milk thistle in 1968, it has been used as a liver treatment. This product is an extract derived from seeds that contain the highest concentration of silybin.
